Clive Washington - Founder / Group Managing Director
Based at Pacific Wide, I am part of the team determining the direction for the Group. I manage general sales and marketing for the Asia-Pacific region, focusing on Japan. Fostering customer relationships is important part of my role.
I value the customer relationships that I have built up over the 20+ years. I also love the challenge of creating the perfect business model and being able to work with our customers to improve quality of product and increase sales. I like being able to inspire our team to be happy and enjoy their job.
Outside of work I enjoy watching rugby union, playing golf when I get some recreation time and watching sports in general. I enjoy sitting back and seeing what I have achieved after a good tidy up in the garden. Family is an important part of my life and I love being an inspiration to our grandchildren.

Anthony Washington - Group Chief Executive Officer
Working from the Pacific Wide office, my role involves implementing the strategic direction of the business which includes co-ordination of our manufacturing and sales & marketing. My role also includes travelling to markets to meet with distributors.
I like to see our business, people and customers grow. I enjoy meeting with our customers, many I count as friends. This includes trying the local cuisine, washed down with a few ales.
When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my family which includes fishing, coaching and watching rugby or just hanging out. I enjoy cooking for family and friends and washing it down with a good vino. During all my travels I enjoy a good book or movie.

Meredith Guy - Technical Production Advisor
My position involves collecting, collating, analysing and providing technical information and advice for the company. I research processes, products scientific attributes, interactions with plants, product benefits & problems and product/process improvement.
I enjoy gaining knowledge; there is still so much information which can be gained from research and development. Growers are forever trying to grow the best plants and for us to provide them with the product to do that is paramount.
Outside of work I enjoy anything outdoors but gardening is certainly a passion. For those that visit my garden will understand that very quickly. Sports and socialising is a very close second!

Peter Lewis - Chief Financial Officer
Working at the Pacific Wide office, I am responsible for financial management of the Group including financial reporting and budgeting. My role involves production planning, assisting Plant Managers and can also require me to work on specialist projects including mergers and acquisitions.
I enjoy the opportunity to create significant benefits for the Group from the projects that I work on. I like getting out of the office and don’t mind getting my hands dirty in the production facilities.
When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time in the great outdoors and like to go hunting and tramping. I also enjoy watching my sons play better rugby than I could ever manage.

Garry Clark
Gro Pacific Manager
At Gro Pacific I am responsible for every facet of the business from marketing, sales, ordering and invoicing through to dispatching and unloading imported containers.
Pacific Wide Market Development Manager
In market development I deal with new overseas enquiries and marketing and sales for the USA and Hawaii regions.
In both roles I enjoy communicating with our loyal customer base. We are very lucky to have long term relationships with our customers, which in turn makes it fun! Outside of work I enjoy out door activities when I get myself organised. These include sea fishing, hunting pigs and deer, or relaxing with a beer around a barbeque.

Andrew Paxton - Coastpak Manager
Based at Coastpak, Hokitika in the sunny west coast of the South Island, my role is to source moss and ensure that it is processed to the highest specification in a safe and efficient manner. I encourage my team to work hard and have fun while doing so.
I enjoy the wide variety of work the role involves; no two days are the same. The people here on the West Coast are no-nonsense breed and are really helpful and fantastic to get along with.
Outside work I have four boys who keep me busy. As well as this I have an on-going lifetime passion for karate and as a result of this get beat up on a regular basis. When I’m not busy with all that I love heading off for a fish.

Ben Savage - Pacific Bark Manager
Based in Matamata I ensure that the Pacific Bark plant runs as efficiently and effectively as possible during the production of Orchiata and Barkdeco. I also liaise with Daltons regarding order fulfilment.
I enjoy the amount of variety required to perform the role successfully.
Outside of work I enjoy following sport rather than play these days – any sport. We also have 9 grandchildren to spoil at this point.

Sarah Washington - Logistics Manager
I am based in the Christchurch office and I am responsible for logistics from processing our orders through to ensuring they are shipped out to meet our customer’s requirements. I also take care of all imports of coir and anything else that Clive may think about importing!
The best part of my job is interacting with customers and suppliers and developing relationships. I enjoy working within the PW Team environment.
When not at work I enjoy spending time with friends and family. As a bit of a foodie I enjoy wining, dining, cooking and entertaining. I love travelling and exploring new places…particularly tropical overseas destinations

Sharon Lagan - Financial Controller
Based at Pacific Wide I am responsible for financial recording and reporting for all companies. My role also encompasses Human Resources for the group.
As I like organisation it pleases me when all the i’s are dotted and t’s are crossed and everything balances. I also really enjoy having control over everybody’s expense accounts.
Outside of work I enjoy holidaying with family and friends participating in water sports and outdoor pursuits. I love spending time with my children and husband and watching them in their sporting activities.

Alicia Menendez - Marketing Coordinator
My position at Pacific Wide is extremely varied. I am responsible for office admin including the group’s international and domestic travel. However, my main role is in Marketing where I am responsible for creating marketing material, arranging trade shows, producing newsletters and keeping the website up to date.
I enjoy the variety of my role and working with a wide range of customers and suppliers. I love the creative side of my position and get satisfaction out of seeing my work displayed.
When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I enjoy getting out in the garden and tending to my veggie patch.
